The sash frame is precisely aligned and fixed by vertical external and internal clamps.

After fixing, the glass pane is adjusted and wedged.

The inner clamps press the sash profile against the outer clamps with up to 8 pressure pieces per side while the glass pane is adjusted to prevent the sash from twisting.

For different glass and profile thicknesses, the engagement range of the inner clamps can be preset on a selector switch. The outer clamps are mounted in such a way that a free space of 120 mm is left for the corner hinge between the support rollers and the clamping arms and have a depth of 120 mm. The outer and inner clamps are positioned by pneumatic cylinders via pushbuttons. The movement of the clamping beam is manual in the X direction, the sash dimensions to be machined are between 400 x 400 mm minimum and 1,700 x 3,000 mm maximum.

The contact part has an 80 mm wide and 60 mm deep recess for the forend on the left and right, which can be closed pneumatically with brush strips.

The contact surface consists of 6 rubber roller strips and is 2,500 mm high. The center distance of the rollers is 25 mm and enables low-vibration sliding of the glazed sashes.

The height of the rollers is adjustable between 280 mm and 330 mm.
